Climate change in the focus of the 2nd Environmental Charter Meeting

The 2nd Environmental Charter Meeting highlighted the importance of developing ambitious climate policies through an inclusive process that targets all relevant stakeholders.

On June 25th, at INFOEIT – the Center for Technology and Information Transfer at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, organized by the Friedrich Ebert Foundation - Skopje office in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning of the Republic of Northe Macedonia, the meeting gathered decision-makers, CSO and TU representatives, MPs in order to take a closer look at the current situation that by any means calls for urgent action and more closer cooperation in the process. The aim of the Environmental Charter Meetings is to provide a platform for continuous dialogue between representatives of the institutions at central and local level, civil society organizations, trade unions, academic representatives and representatives of international organizations focusing in their work on environmental issues in order to provide better cooperation and long-term results.
