School for Women's Activism- First Module

On May 27th, in Struga, the first module of the ninth generation of the School for Women's Activism began. During this module, topics related to feminism, the fundamentals of gender equality, as well as the principles, values, and development of social democracy will be discussed.

Jovana Trenchevska, the President of the Women's Forum of SDSM, welcomed the participants of the ninth generation and introduced them to the history and benefits of the School for Women's Activism. Greetings were also given by Nita Starova, Project coordinator at the Friedrich Ebert Foundation's office in Skopje, and Marija Markovska Krusharovska, Financial manager at the Progress Institute for Social Democracy. Professor Gjorgi Spasov was one of the lecturers, focusing on the fundamentals and development of social democracy.


The School for Women's Activism is a project that has been running for nine years, divided into four modules. Upon completing the school, participants will be gender-sensitive and empowered female politicians, ready for further engagement and action in politics and society.
