At the summit, students from different faculties of the University took on the role of decision makers, from Prime Minister to small producers of electricity from renewable sources and representatives of various civil society organizations and trade unions, in order to discuss the just energy transition process in North Macedonia. The Youth Officer from the Ministry of Transport and Communications, Bratoljub Shurlanovikj also joined the discussion and shared the importance of sustainable transport in the decarbonization process. The idea of this summit was to bring students closer to the process of decarbonization of our economy, as well as the importance of inclusive and transparent discussion of the needs and opportunities for a fair and socially-just energy transition.
