The Skopje Office of Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Government of Republic of Macedonia

Prime Minister Zoran Zaev and the FES Representative Eva Ellereit signed the Memorandum during a visit of German Members of Parliament.

The Skopje Office of Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Government of Republic of Macedonia on August 23rd 2018. 

This Memorandum aims to foster intellectual exchange and research and creates a foundation for cooperation in selected policy areas. FES and the Government of the Republic of Macedonia thereby commit to collaborating in the policy areas of the European Economic and Social Model, Foreign and Defense Policy and Youth through the creation and implementation of policy priorities. Through joint conferences as well as the exchange of expertise between researchers and experts from institutions from both Macedonia and Germany, the development of new concepts and strategies in the outlined areas should be facilitated further. This Memorandum of Cooperation marks the continued cooperation between FES Skopje and various Ministries and Institutions in Macedonia and Germany and underlines the commitment by both FES and the Macedonian Government to foster a political agenda based on European values.
