Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung is strongly engaged in cooperating and working together with the key actors in promoting European values and achieving a developed society based on fundamental rights and solidarity. Our commitment in North Macedonia is based on an inclusive framework that includes debates and discussions with the civil society, governmental representatives, political actors, diplomats and representatives of the European Union on a national level and between all of the countries in the region.

For the majority of Macedonian citizens, the prospect of joining the EU represents economic prosperity, social guarantees, and safe environment. FES Skopje’s goal is to enable sustainable and balanced development through progressive discourse on public, foreign, and security policy within the EU framework.
