The Trade Union of Macedonia, SGIP, SIER, AGRO, and SRT, in cooperation with the Friedrich Ebert Foundation Office Skopje, are organizing specialized training on the topic of Collective Bargaining.

They learned about the chronology of Collective Bargaining and its implementation, the difference between individual and collective bargaining, the need for collective bargaining, and developed new collective bargaining skills.

The lecturer at the training was Lidija Kekenovska Pavikj. Ivan Peshevski, Vice President of the Trade Union Confederation of Macedonia (SSM) for the private sector, familiarized attendees with the activities of the SSM in the field of collective bargaining and the conclusion of new collective agreements in the private sector.

The cooperation between SSM and FES enables a greater number of union activists to receive appropriate training in specific areas where work is being done to strengthen and advance social dialogue to establish more favorable rights for workers.
