Academy for Public Policy- Third Module

Over the weekend, the third thematic module "How to Secure Financing for My Idea" of the Policy Academy "From Idea to Implementation" was held, organized by the Friedrich Ebert Foundation (FES) in cooperation with SIGA.

The main speaker at this module was Marian Radu, Member of Parliament and Vice President of PES - the ruling party in Moldova, who spoke about the experience of Maia Sandu and PAS in Moldova in overcoming dark money in politics with integrity.

Radu emphasized that winning and governing with integrity is possible, and that the most valuable work for any politician is integrity, hence the need to preserve it and implement policies that are exclusively in the interest of citizens.

"A leader is one who creates leaders. A good leader is one who motivates and inspires his employees, who prioritizes the needs of citizens, and works responsibly and transparently. Integrity is the foundation of good governance and one of the fundamental core values in any profession, especially in implementing public policies and advancing society," said Radu.

Participation in the Academy also included Mila Carovska, Director of SIGA, Nita Starova, Project Coordinator at FES, and trainers Snezana Kostovska and Zoran Stojkovski, who discussed the concept of securing funds for project business ideas through grants and social investments, defining project methodologies, business tools, and required skills.
