From October 27th to October 29th, 2023, the Regional Social Democratic Academy for Women's Leadership took place, gathering female leaders from social democratic parties and civil organizations from North Macedonia, Serbia, Albania, Greece, Kosovo, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, and Slovenia.
The Academy commenced with introductory presentations by representatives of the Women's Forum of SDSM, the project coordinator at FES Nita Starova, and the representative from FES Belgrade, Ana Manojlovic-Stakic.
The goal of the Academy is to strengthen leadership skills among women in social democratic circles, encouraging them to take the right step and occupy their place in communities where decisions and policies are made. The results show that women in key leadership positions work much more wisely, effectively, with integrity, and empathy, making positive changes for the country.
