Panel discussion "Commitments for a better future for youth - Youth cooperation and participation"

This panel discussion was organized as part of an initiative launched in 2022 by the local office of RYCO with the support of the Friedrich Ebert and Konrad Adenauer Foundations, in collaboration with the Club for Youth Affairs and Policies of the Parliament, aiming to strengthen the capacities of the youth wings of political parties with representatives in the club.

In addition to conducting training sessions on effective youth policy-making, participants representing youth organizations of political parties such as the Alliance for Albanians, Alternativa, DUI, as well as LiDеM, SDMM, and UMS, proposed the development of a joint youth declaration to encourage active cooperation among youth for their common commitment to improving the situation of young people in the country and beyond.

This joint declaration was solemnly signed by the presidents and representatives of the political youth who have MPs in the Club for Youth Affairs and Policies in the Parliament. Discussions also focused on the commitments of the youth wings of political parties for its implementation, as well as the continued support from RYCO, the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in monitoring the events mentioned in the declaration.

The declaration will contribute to the unification of young people from political parties and all forms of youth organization with the aim of improving the situation of young people at local and national level, as well as advancing cooperation between institutions, political parties and the civil society.

We are proud of the effort invested and finding a common language that will undoubtedly contribute to a better future for young people in the Republic of North Macedonia.
